Angers is the capital of the historic province of Anjou and famous for its impressive castles and the magnificent twin-spiraled Cathedral of Saint Maurice. The city is situated in the Loire Valley and only an hour and a half from Paris by train and two hours from the Atlantic Ocean. Angers is a city with a rich past and whether you are taking a stroll or looking for signs of history, its heritage and culture will delight you.

This beautiful city stands majestically on the banks of the river Maine, just south of the river Loire. This pretty and friendly town with a lively atmosphere is known for two outstanding tapestry series, the fourteenth-century Apocalypse and the twentieth-century Chant du Monde.
