The long-established 4-star Hotel Silberhorn with 70 rooms is located in the center of Wengen, right in front of the Railway Station. It is just next to the funicular, which provides for an easy access to the mountains, numerous sports activities and other attractions. The Hotel facilities include the Restaurant “Silberhornstube” with terrace, well known for Swiss specialties, and also offering various international dishes. Then there is a Breakfast- and Dining Room, and two Bars: the Lobby-Bar with an Internet Corner and the cozy Bar on the ground-floor with an open fireplace. Other amenities at the Hotel Silberhorn include a Sauna and achildren’s playroom. A wireless LAN allows for an Internet connection in the entire hotel. In addition, the Silberhorn-building hosts the Wengen ski-school, a sports shop, a jewelry shop, a hairdresser, a public laundry and a bar with a disco for nightly entertainment.

Description of Double Standard Room
These rooms at the Hotel Silberhorn are spacious and comfortable rooms facing North with view of the village and the “Maennlichen” mountain. Each bathroom has a bathtub including a shower (some with shower only) and a hair-dryer. All rooms are equipped with cable TV, radio, direct dial-in/dial-out telephone, wireless LAN Internet connection, safe and mini-bar. The rooms usually come with 2 Twin Beds (pushed together), but there are also rooms with one queen-size bed that are available on request. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available.

Single Superior: smaller room for one person only; facing South with balcony and great views of the valley and the surrounding mountains.

Double Superior: larger room facing South with balcony and great views of the valley and the surrounding mountains.

By public transportation:
Take train from Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen, then change train ("Wengeneralp-Bahn") for Wengen. (approx. 15 minutes); upon arrival in Wengen you will see the entrance of the Hotel Silberhorn opposite the railway station.

By car:
Drive from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen and park your car in the large Parking Garage at Lauterbrunnen Railway Station. Wengen is a car-free resort! Therefore, take the train ("Wengeneralp-Bahn") to Wengen (approx. 15 minutes); upon arrival in Wengen you will see the entrance of the Hotel Silberhorn opposite the railway station.
